The Oculus Rift is a really cool device. It's also somewhat expensive, clocking in at around $350. The OpenDive 3D project goggles are also nice, but if you don't have a 3D printer it's somewhat costly (around $50). Google Cardboard is even cheaper than this, but the lenses cost about $20 from Amazon.
We need to go cheaper.

Fixing the "HasForeignDsk[s]" error on Seagate BlackArmors
My Seagate BlackArmor 440 NAS decided to restart in the middle of a write operation the other day, corrupting its RAID 5 volume. I managed to recover the data on the drives using another computer, but to my horror found that the NAS would no longer accept any of its drives to make a new volume with, displaying the titular error. After a few day's worth of fruitless Googling, I stumbled upon the solution.

The AT&T PC 6386 WGS
AT&T's foray into personal computing was quite brief, but left behind one of the most loved computers of all time: the AT&T PC 6300. Rebranded Olivetti M24s, these machines sported an 8086 at 8MHz and up to 640k RAM onboard. All in all, solid machines.
But that's not why we're here today.
